There were fish stocked in the C & R sections of the run and main stem. The reports of rain for the day proved to be over exaggerated, mostly just overcast with a brief shower here and there. Me, Lou and Bob O visited the new TCO fly shop in Boiling Springs before hitting the creek. Lotta stuff, I scored a barred ginger cape and some black deer hair. If we want these shops to remain in business we need to support them. Online sources may be cheaper but they don't deliver creek side.
I don't know how many fish we caught but a bunch. We found a pod of trout that would be best described as a swarm. They hit on just about every nymph, wet fly and bugger we threw at them.
